All my teams will be on Windows 10, on Dell hardware. I know how to adjust the input level in macOS but I’m much less familiar with Windows. I had naively assumed that with them being mics that connect over USB, there wouldn’t be gain control, because they’d be sending clean digital audio over USB, but of course, as I now realise, there are level controls built into the OS – which third party apps seem to be able to adjust as well. It’s not a dealbreaker because I can Match Loudness in Audition (not ideal, but fine), but it would help everyone hear each other balanced (and improve audio quality by reducing the need to boost gain) if they were all at a similar volume. One thing I can’t get my head around is getting consistent volume from everyone. Hello, everyone!
